Google Account Information
Purpose: Authenticate access to the app and verify user identity.
Scope: Includes basic account information such as your Google email address and user ID.

Google Sheets™ Data
Purpose: Generate performance evaluations based on user input, including checkbox selections and evaluator names.
Scope: Accesses specific cells and ranges within the active Google Sheet.
Storage: All data remains within your Google Sheets™ file. No data is stored or transmitted outside your Google account.

Email Content
Purpose: Send evaluation results to students and optional teacher recipients.
Scope: Includes names, email addresses, the generated evaluation comment, and an attached PDF of the current sheet.
Storage: Constructed and sent in-session using Gmail™; not stored externally.

How We Use Your Data

Collaboration Evaluation strictly follows Google’s API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • To Authenticate and Provide Access: Your account credentials are used only to identify you and enable access.
  • To Generate and Send Evaluations: Data is used in real time to calculate scores, generate comments, and send emails.
  • To Improve User Experience: General usage insights may be reviewed in aggregate but are never tied to individuals.

Data Retention and Storage

Collaboration Evaluation does not store or retain any data on external servers.
All content stays in your Google Sheets™ and email account. PDF attachments are sent, not saved.

Data Sharing and Transfers

Collaboration Evaluation does not share or transfer your data to any third parties.

Compliance with Google API Services User Data Policy

Collaboration Evaluation’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the
Google API Services User Data Policy,
including the Limited Use requirements.

Educational Purpose

This app is designed to support the assessment of social skills, collaboration, and teamwork. It is intended for educational use by teachers and students, not commercial use.

Your Data Protection Rights

  • Access: You can review all data directly in your Google Sheets™ file.
  • Modify/Delete: You can freely modify or delete any data you’ve entered.
  • No External Data: No external storage means no additional deletion steps are necessary.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy as needed. Any changes will be posted on platforms where the app is available.
